LPG/gasoline inverter generator with 4,477 engine hours

Generators are known to last 3 to 10 years, depending on usage frequency and operating conditions. When it comes to gasoline generators, the average service life is 3,000 engine hours and is highly dependent on engine type, engine parts, operating conditions, fuel quality and some other criteria.

Recently, the Könner & Söhnen^® service center was sent a KS 2000iG S LPG/gasoline inverter generator, with more than four thousand engine hours - 4,477 to be precise!

These high hours worked are primarily due to:

• high build quality;
• first-class brushless alternator with 100% copper winding;
• overload and low oil protection.

A rule of thumb states that Könner & Söhnen^® equipment well over its guaranteed service life and 100, 500 or more post-warranty hours is still quite usable, provided that it is serviced in good time.
