Könner & Söhnen wallboxes enable reliable and safe charging of electric cars and are a must for every electric vehicle owner! The charger supplied with an electric vehicle has a built-in controller, but is not designed for continuous operation and high-performance charging. It only serves as a mobile solution and allows you to draw the charging current directly from a regular socket.
But a Schuko socket can overheat or cause a short circuit under extreme continuous load, thus becoming a fire risk. The wallbox is connected to the power distribution board of a house via a separate, secured supply line with a separate circuit breaker. In addition, the Könner & Söhnen wallboxes have multi-stage protection against overload, residual current, voltage drop, overheating and unfavorable weather conditions and enable monitoring of all relevant indicators and possible malfunctions.
- UNIVERSAL PLUG
Könner & Söhnen ® EV charging stations are equipped with Type 2 plugs according to DIN EN 62196-2, the most common connector for European electric vehicles. They are supplied with a long 5-meter charging cable, allowing for a variety of parking options.

The three-phase current of a high-voltage wallbox enables faster charging – with 11 kW (3x16A) or 22 kW (3 x 32 A).
