LPG/petrol inverter generator with 4,477 operating hours
Generators have a lifespan of 3 to 10 years, depending on frequency of use and operating conditions. For gasoline generators, the average lifespan is 3,000 operating hours and depends heavily on the engine type, engine parts, operating conditions, fuel quality and some other requirements.
Recently, the Könner & Söhnen service center received a KS 2000iG S LPG/petrol inverter generator for repair with more than four thousand operating hours – 4,477 to be exact!
These high hours worked are mainly due to:
- high quality workmanship;
- premium brushless alternator with 100% copper winding;
- Overload protection and oil level protection.
A rule of thumb is that Könner & Söhnen devices will continue to operate well beyond their guaranteed service life, 100, 500 or more operating hours after the warranty period has expired, provided they are serviced in a timely manner.
