K&S Gas and Gasoline Generators

How to save money? Today, every Ukrainian is asking himself this question. The high cost of gasoline has ceased to surprise and upset us, we have accepted it as something inevitable...

But still, for private homes and construction projects where a backup source of electricity is needed, there is an option to save money. These are not even new products: models of dual-fuel generators from "Könner & Söhnen" have already been successfully tested both on the Ukrainian and European markets.

Currently, Techno Trade KS, as an exclusive representative of the German company Dimax Group, offers Ukrainian consumers the KS 3000G models with a capacity of 2.6/3.0 kW and the KS 7000E G with a capacity of 5.0/5.5 kW, powered by gas and petrol. What is the advantage of these generators and what are their characteristics?

Gas and petrol generator models from Könner & Söhnen are currently the most popular among customers due to their cost-effectiveness. The cost of gas is almost three times lower than that of petrol. The benefit is obvious. To be fair, we would like to draw your attention right away that the gas and petrol-powered generator costs a little more than a similar model in capacity, which runs on petrol alone. But this cost difference is quickly offset, and you will soon start to notice the significant savings that come with using a gas generator.

Among the advantages of dual-fuel generators, in addition to profitability, the following also stand out:

• high quality at an affordable price;

• high performance, which meets the indicated characteristics, both when used with gasoline and gas;

• a more stable engine, which increases its useful life;

• Gas is a more environmentally friendly fuel than petrol. Using gas as a fuel produces fewer harmful emissions into the atmosphere;

• technical security;

• infrequent performance of preventive inspections;

• reliability of power supply;

• longer service life: uninterrupted operation for a long time.

Using the gas and petrol generator is very simple and includes everything you need to connect it. The generator is equipped with a gas-regulated LPG hose. All you have to do is connect the hose to the gas cylinder. The generator has a built-in reducer with a valve that lets the air out of the hose and with a movement of the lever in the "gas operation" position the generator is ready to start. After starting, as with any other petrol generator model, you set the generator lever to the operating mode and that's it: long live electricity!

Dual fuel models are designed to run on either liquefied gas (propane butane) or A-92 gasoline, like conventional gasoline generators. All Könner & Söhnen gas and gasoline generators must run on A2 gasoline. And even if your budget allows you to buy a more expensive brand of gasoline, you shouldn't. The manufacturer strongly recommends using A-92 gasoline because it doesn't contain additives like higher octane gasoline. The generator is not always used regularly - it is, after all, a backup power source. If the generator is not used for a while, for example, one or two months, during this time the additives have time to dry out and heavy impurities precipitate. When the generator is switched on again, these heavy impurities precipitate in the carburetor, clog the nozzles and force the carburetor to be replaced. Therefore, if you decide to use the generator with gasoline, follow the instructions and use A2 gasoline.

Dual fuel generators are easy to use, but keep in mind that they are not designed for use from the central grid, but only from a cylinder.

At sub-zero temperatures, the generator starts on gasoline without any problems. Once the equipment has warmed up, the power source can be switched to gas.

Let's save together! With gas and petrol generators from Könner & Söhnen this is possible.
